Yet another month has been and gone, and now Summer has well and truly left us for another year. The darker nights are creeping in, Halloween is just a few weeks away and before we know it it will be Christmas. Time seems to be going so quickly so sometimes its nice to just stop and ‘take 5’ to try and unwind, and what better way to press the pause button than with a ‘pamper pause button’, all courtesy of September’s Dollibox. The fun, girlie subscription box is full of 5 delightful treats (plus a bonus surprise) to help beat the Summer Blues and add abit of sparkle into the Autumn Season. Here’s what I received inside September’s Dollibox…..
Fairypants Vegan Cosmetics Dry Skin Balm
I love the name of this brand and I love that they are a vegan cosmetics company. This super moisturising skin balm will keep my skin lovely and soft as we head into the harsher cold weather. To apply you take a little of the balm between your fingers and rub together until the product starts to melt into an oil and then massage into the skin to leave your body hydrated and pampered. I received the Orange and Vanilla Skin Balm which smells incredible, there are other scents available and with a r.r.p of £3.99 this balm is great value for money as a little certainly goes a long way. Perfectly sized for travel too.
Little Ondine Nail Polish
Firstly I loved the little box this nail varnish was packaged in, it was so cute and a great little stocking filler idea for the Holiday Season. I received the shade Mocha Shimmer and I love it! Its a deep black-gold with a subtle gleam. I love black nail varnish for the Winter Months and will use this until it is empty as its such a fabulous colour, I adore the gold shimmer in this, perfect for the party season for sure. Toxin-free nail polish with an easy peel-off formula which makes removing the polish a breeze. Its odour free, goes on really smoothly and was very quick drying, I am wearing this now and I am really impressed.
GlitterEyes Pressed Glitter
Which lady doesn’t love some sparkle? GlitterEyes are a UK brand with an expanding and impressive range of products. They have over 130 shades so if you are looking for some sparkle for the Halloween/Party/Holiday Seasons then look no further. This pressed glitter is just as it says….glitter glitter glitter. It sparkles, it shines but it didn’t go everywhere which is what I always dread when I open any glitter product. Long-lasting and easy to remove with regular eye-makeup remover, I look forward to using this in one of my upcoming YouTube makeup tutorials soon.
Schwarzkopf Professional Micellar Cleansing Conditioner
A well-known brand who has developed the innovative BC Micellar Cleansing Conditioners which are aimed to gently cleanse and condition all hair types in one step, without the need for traditional shampoos and conditioners. So its basically all you wash your hair with. I know and use Micellar Cleansers on my face but had never heard about a Micellar Cleanser for my hair so I am really keen to try this, especially for travel as its a super quick way to wash the hair. This sulphate-free, gentle and skincare-inspired Micellar formula claims to cleanse and refresh the hair while retaining the hair’s natural oils and moisture as the hair is not needed to be washed daily or with harsher products. If this product works well I quite fancy doing a full blog review on this as its something I am definitely interested in.
Anatomicals Lip Balm
A fun philosophical approach to beauty from this British Brand, I love the super colourful packaging which is packed with natural ingredients and is free from parabens. This fruity lip balm smells of cherry and is in a handy squeezy tube with screw cap and slanted lip applicator. Perfectly sized for the handbag and one that makes you smile each time you reach for it.
Joe and Sephs Gormet Popcorn – Coconut and Chia Popcorn
An additional surprise in September’s Dollibox is this little packet of popcorn. Our household eats alot of popcorn so I can’t wait to try this and I am really intrigued by the Coconut and Chia Popcorn flavour. Using 100% natural ingredients, Joe and his team of Chefs hand craft each batch of Joe and Seph’s Popcorn in London and they produce over 40 distinctive flavours ranging from Toffee Apple and Cinnamon to Gin and Tonic (one I will certainly be trying). A lovely treat and one that probably won’t last long as popcorn in our house never does.
Another great Dollibox with the standout product for me being the nail varnish, especially because of the shade. I am really keen to try the Schwarzkopf Micellar Cleansing Conditioner and I am off to put my feet up by the fireplace, grab a hot drink and enjoy some Coconut and Chia Popcorn – thank you Dollibox.
