Love Me Beauty March Review

Love Me Beauty March

Another month (already!), and another 60 credits for me to use with my Love Me Beauty monthly subscription.  With Love Me Beauty you receive 60 credits each month for you to choose which products you would like to receive from their online selection.  Each product is worth a number of points and for March there were brands such as Laura Mercier on offer so lets see more closely which products I chose.

Love Me Beauty March

The Bag:

I love the Love Me Beauty Makeup Bags/Pouches, I am slowly gaining a collection and they are coming in handy for all sorts of items to keep my handbag super organised and tidy.  March’s offering is white with the slogan ‘Just wing it, life, eyeliner, everything’.  Wipe clean in the interior these are such a great alternative to the beauty boxes you sometimes receive (and they take up alot less storage too).

Laura Mercier Lip Glace Laura Mercier Lip Glace

Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Pink Pop

This is such a girlie, barbie pink colour in the packaging that when it arrive I thought I could only really wear this in an evening but once I applied it I was totally wrong.  It’s a sheer high-shine gloss which can be worn alone for a subtle but flattering sheen of colour, or used layered over a lip colour to add that touch of luster to the lips.  I was expecting this to be rather tacky and sticky on the lips but its not, its really moisturising and feels just lovely.  I also really love the smell of it and the size is perfect for travel or popping in your handbag.  Its such a great lip product from Laura Mercier that I am keen now to try more shades.

This product was worth 20 credits.

Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Shadow Stick Tuxedo

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Tuxedo

I have tried similar eye sticks from other brands and quite like these – they are great if you are in a rush as they are so quick to apply and you can use them as lightly or as heavy as you like.  The colour I got is Tuxedo which is a charcoal black, so perfect for a smokey eye.  I like to apply this as a thick eyeliner then smudge and blend upwards over the eye lid to the crease, you can even just use your finger to blend as the texture is so creamy.  Again another great one for travel or for your handbag – this is an ideal one if you want to go from day to night and don’t want to carry a bunch of makeup with you as no makeup brush is really needed to get a flattering eye result.

This product was worth 20 credits.

EcoTools 5 Piece Brush Travel Set EcoTools 5 Piece Brush Travel Set EcoTools 5 Piece Brush Travel Set

EcoTools 5 Piece Travel Set

I love a good makeup brush, even better when they come as a set, and even better still when they are travel size so I was really excited to receive these.  You get a Complexion Blending Brush, a Shadow Smudge Brush (ideal for the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick above), an Angled Liner, a Powder/Blush Brush and finally a handy size Cosmetic Bag to carry the brushes in.  I have never used EcoTools brushes before so I look forward to trying these, the bristles are not only cruelty free but they feel incredibly soft and I love the bamboo handles.

This product was worth 20 credits.

After a great January Love Me Beauty set and a great February Love Me Beauty set, I though I might be a little disappointed with March’s offering but I was completely wrong.  I love each product – from their travel-friendly sizes to the great quality, I know I will use every product so its another great hit for Love Me Beauty from me in March.
