Dollibox August 2017 Review Dollibox August Review

Are we really about to head into Autumn already?  The darker nights, jumpers, coats and boots weather?  Summer where did you go?  Luckily Dollibox have given us a burst of Summer Sunshine with their August box and for me this is one of my favourite Dollibox’s to date – 5 fab products that have got your Post-August-Bank-Holiday-Weekend-Blues covered.

Meow False Eyelashes Meow False Eyelashes

Meow Lashes

I don’t wear false lashes often but I do like them for special occasions so they are always greatly received in any beauty subscription box.  These Meow Lashes are rather luxurious and are made from 100% mink hair – maybe abit controversial in their material so they won’t be for everyone.  However they do feel ultra soft and the great thing about these lashes are that they are hand-made and can be worn up to 25 times which is more then abit impressive.  Super lightweight and flexible, they can be curled like real lashes and provide a natural, feathery look which I prefer.

Technic Colour Fix Cream Palette Technic Colour Fix Cream Palette

Technic Colourfix Blush and Bronze Palette

I love any kind of palette and this one had me ‘ooooo-ing’ and ‘aaaaahhh-ing’ as soon as I opened my August Dollibox.  This all cream palette features 8 blendable blushers and bronzers and the shades look gorgeous, great for adding a warmth of colour to the face and for contouring too.  I especially like the look of the pink and coral toned shades and feel this palette would suit a large variety of skin tones.  With a retail price of £4.99 this palette is a great one for any makeup lover who is new to cream based blushers and bronzers as there is a such a variety of shades to play with, and for so many different occasions and looks.

Egg Face Mask

Egg Face Mask

Just like palettes and false lashes I am always happy to receive a face mask in a beauty box subscription.  Face masks have become a weekly treat that’s now part of my Sunday night ‘me time’ pamper ritual – its always great to try new face masks and I have heard great things about ‘Egg Face Masks from BioAqua’.  Firstly I love the egg-shaped pack, you can even keep this in the fridge for an extra shot of calming coolness to the skin which in a Sunny climate I am sure would be hugely welcomed.  The sheet mask inside is packed with egg protein that claims to intensely hydrate, brighten and control oil on the troubled skin.  Solving skin problems from dehydration to uneven tone and oiliness?  Pass me the Egg Mask now!

Awake Organics Clean Deodorant Awake Organics Clean Deodorant

Awake Organics Aura Clean Deodrant

A new to me brand but an award-wining truly clean deodorant that works with the body supporting your natural detoxification process, whilst providing an all-day odour protection.  This organic, aluminium-free powdery-balm texture smells beautiful thanks to the organic lavender, rosemary, lemongrass and peppermint (amongst others) combination.  I am keen to give this a try and I love the idea of using a more natural and organic product on your underarm daily which is such a delicate area.

Space Masks

I have seen these pop up on my Instagram feed quite often so I am really excited to finally have one to try.  These are self-heating eye masks that are supposed to help you drift off into another dimension, or at least provide 15 minutes of sheer relaxation, as a busy Mum of little ones I am certainly happy to take the latter.  You open the pouch and unfold the eye mask, gently placing it onto your eyes and fit the loop around your ears.  Within a couple of minutes the warmth of the Spacemask will start to heat up as the oxygen molecules in the atmosphere cuddle up to the mask’s iron particles in a natural heat exchange.  Containing the smell of sweet jasmine I am really looking forwards to giving this a try, I am incredibly intrigued and hopeful it will bring a welcome relief to my tired eyes, so this will be coming to an Instagram-Stories near you.

Dollibox August 2017 Review

The August Dollibox proved to be more than a little ray of Sunshine for me, I loved this box, infact I think it might actually be my favourite so far.  Each product I know I will enjoy using and in particular I can’t wait to try the Spacemask, thank you Dollibox I can’t wait to see what September has in store now.
