Dollibox February 2017

With a girly pink theme and a catchy, fun name ‘Dollibox‘ is a new beauty subscription box for UK based beauty lovers that is as adorable on the inside as it looks on the outside.  You pay a monthly subscription fee (currently £10 per month plus p+p, with other 3, 6 and 12 month packages also available), and a delightful box is delivered to your door containing 5 surprise deluxe products that are matched to your beauty profile.  This is my first experience of Dollibox and I was incredibly impressed with the contents of February’s box of goodies.

Miss Patisserie Bath Melt Dollibox

Miss Patisserie Bath Bake Melt

This adorable blue cupcake looks good enough to eat and almost too good to pop in the bath (think I might keep it on display in the bathroom just a teeny bit longer), but when I do finally decide its time for the cupcake to take the plunge then I know that my bath and my body are in for a treat.  Rich in nourishing Cocoa and Shea Butters, each Patisserie Bath Melt is sprinkled with detoxifying salts.  There is also a sprinkle of shimmer decoration which adds to the deliciously luxurious feel, and the packaging itself is just so cute in the black and white striped cupcake box.  If this bath melt is a taster of Miss Patisserie products then I am really looking forwards to trying lots more in the Miss Patisserie range.

Pro-Range Professional Make Up Brushes Dollibox

Pro-Range Professional Make Up Brushes

A good quality makeup brush never goes amiss and I love how silky soft this eye blending brush feels.  Its made from natural and synthetic fibres and the brush itself is in metallic rose gold, its an Instagram-photogenic dream!  So pretty, delicate and elegant to look at, and with a sleekly contoured indent/holder shape which makes for a more comfortable feel in the hand.  I am impressed with the quality of this brush and its left me lusting after the entire rose-gold range now too.

R.R.P = £32.99 (for complete set of 8)

Dreamybath Unicorn Soap

Dreamybath Unicorn Soap

It actually happened….we got a Unicorn in a Beauty Box!  My inner-child is as giddy as can be right now.  This Dreamybath Unicorn Soap is not only adorable but it is natural, vegan and SLS and cruelty free, whats not to love?!

R.R.P – £2.50

Nip + Fab Daily Cleansing Pads Dollibox

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads

Such a great idea especially for travelling, I will be using these on a long-haul flight when you want to cleanse your skin and add a pick-me-up but you don’t want a lot of mess or liquids for doing so.  A moisturising formula with hyaluronic acid and soothing blue-daisy which is claimed to reveal brighter and smoothing looking skin.  There is also witch hazel to tone, and exfoliating glycolic acid to re-texture the skin.  A product that created abit of a blogger-buzz a while ago that I have never purchased, so its great to try this with Dollibox.

R.R.P – £12.95

MUA Matte Lipstick Scarlet Siren Dollibox

MUA Lipstick

A matte lipstick from the super affordable MUA brand.  I received the shade Scarlet Siren which is a bright red lipstick with a slight pink undertone to it.  A decent lipstick with high pigmentation, and I really like the simple but sleek white packaging.

R.R.P – £1.00

All in all I was really impressed with Dollibox, I mean we got a unicorn!  The February box felt abit like a pamper-night-in – in the most perfectly packaged way.  I adore the cupcake bath melt and rose gold makeup brush in particular.  I hope February’s box is a great taster of whats to come from Dollibox later this month with their March box, I know I am excited to see more!
