Glossybox February Love Is In The Air Box Review

Love Is in The Air with this month’s aptly themed Glossybox just in time for Valentine’s Day and just in time to set my heart a flutter when I opened this box of delights.  I know I often talk about Glossybox’s artwork and this month yet again its a ‘box oh beautiful’ and it really sets the tone for the 5 treats awaiting inside.

MUA Power Pout Glaze Low Voltage Gloss – I received the shade Spellbound (love the shade name) which is a bright red colour which on swatch does pack quite a punch.  A little sticky in consistancy without feeling ‘glue like’ on the lip, you twist the silver bottom of this gloss to dispense the product on the brush.  With a nude eye, winged liner this lip colour is a great pop of colour for a Valentines look.  (Full size product: £3.50)

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Floral Slanted Tweezers – These gorgeous floral tweezers have to be the prettiest tweezers I have ever come across, who knew tweezers could look so good?  They are also my favourite item in the February box, I love that they have made a necessary item look so darn cute, I actually want to display these in my bathroom instead of hiding them in a drawer.  The slanted edge looks ideal for brow shaping and precision plucking, j’adore.  (Full size product: £8.00)

Nicka K New York 24H Waterproof Eyeliner – Its a welcome change to receive a brown eyeliner as a opposed to the regular black and this gets bonus points for the built in sharpener and smudger.  On swatch it has a smooth, creamy consistancy and the brown is pretty pigmented, I have heard that these liners come up trumps for longevity so I am looking forwards to getting lots of use out of this waterproof product.  (Full size product: £3.99)

Naobay Protective Hair Mask Volume Conditioner – Naobay pop up quite often in my Glossyboxes and I always enjoy using their products so I am intrigued to try this one out.  The product itself is a rather large 200ml which promises to leave hair soft, silky and easy to manage. You apply this on freshly washed hair for 3 minutes then rinse out the natural and organic hair ingredients including Shea Butter and Argan Oil leaving your hair all TLC’d.  (Full size product: £10.64)

Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk Razor – Quite a surprise to receive a razor in my Glossybox but we all need them and I guess they think maybe more so ahead of Valentines so I’ll happily take it.  I have used Wilkinson’s razors before and they do what they do nothing less nothing more, but they are an essential if waxing isn’t your thing, and I do like how soft and smooth my legs feel after using this razor.  (Full size product: £9.99)

So did I find my Beauty Soulmate in February’s Glossybox? I have to say that I really like this box especially the fact that it features products we use in our daily/weekly routines.  I feel I can preen myself from top to toe and my essentials are covered which is a welcome change to a box full of make up and skincare (which don’t get me wrong is great) but its nice to go back to basics, and I think that’s what this box does but in a pretty and delightfully packaged way.
