Glossybox September 2017 Review

Glossybox September 2017 Review Glossybox September 2017 Review

Autumn is well and truly in the crisp air, blankets are at the ready, hot chocolates by the fire and cosy knits to keep out those chilly mornings.  I love Autumn because I love seeing the Seasons change, the leaves fall from the trees and knowing that Christmas isn’t that far away.  September’s Glossybox is packed with 5 fab products (plus a tasty treat!) to help us adjust to the darker evenings, back-to-school feelings and new challenges that lay before us with the good old British Weather.  Here’s a peak inside September’s Glossybox.

Skinfix Hand Repair Cream

Skinfix Hand Repair Cream

I don’t know about you but my hands are always the first part of my skin that suffers with the colder weather so this hand cream is perfectly timed.  At 30ml its a great handbag/desk/travel size and its packed with healing botanicals, rich natural butters and emollient oils plus 1% colloidal oatmeal.  All of these ingredients combined targets eczema, dermatitis and extreme dryness, which for me sounds like a God send.  I suffer with dry, sometimes cracked skin on my hands during the Winter so I am hoping this cream can help keep this at bay.  Its Dermatologist tested and it claims to treat and soothe irritation, redness and eczema whilst softening the skin, sounds abit of an essential for me.

PIXI Brow Tamer PIXI Brow Tamer

Pixi By Petra Brow Tamer

I have heard great things about the Pixi Brand and surprisingly I’ve never tried any of their products before so I was pretty chuffed to see one of the Pixi items in this months Glossybox.  The clear long-wearing gel reminds me abit of the clear mascara I used to wear at school (one of the few makeup items I could get away with).  You apply once you have filled in your brows, and you just brush up and out with the wand to shape and set the brows in place.  Paraben free, fragrance free and cruelty free, this Brow Tamer claims to hold your brows in place all day which I look forward to putting to the test.

MonuSkin Firming Fiji Facial Oil

Monu Firming Fiji Facial Oil

I love a good facial oil, especially ones that are aimed at dry, sensitive skin like mine, so I am really keen to try this in my daily skincare routine.  The Monu Firming Fiji Facial Oil contains plant oils to nourish and protect, with a refreshing blend of Bois de Rose and Patchouli essential oils to calm, firm and leave the skin brighter.  The oil smells amazing and to apply (after cleansing) you warm one or two drops in the palm of the hands before massaging gently into the facial skin in upward movements.

Taylor's 32 Whitening Toothpaste Taylor's 32 Whitening Toothpaste

Taylors 32 Classic Mint Natural Whitening Toothpaste

Toothpaste is always abit of a surprise to receive in Beauty Boxes, not sure why as its an essential part of our daily lives, but this one is 75ml so travel friendly which is always a bonus.  In the flavour Classic Mint, this is one chic toothpaste and one you certainly don’t mind having on display on your bathroom shelf.  Developed with Dentists this is an all natural toothpaste that aims to remove stains naturally whilst reducing plague and aiding with gum health.  As a coffee and red wine drinker/lover I have great hopes for this to leave my teeth pearly white.

Siligel Blender Siligel Blender

Siligel Blender – Clear

I am always intrigued by these clear silicone gel type blenders, they look so intriguing and sound so intriguing.  The Siligel Blender is a small, transparent, flat blender that you can use to apply makeup or creams, most people seem to use them for foundations, and that’s what I will be trying mine with.  They claim that you use less product as they don’t absorb as much product as sponges or makeup brushes.  To use you just need half your usual product amount (e.g liquid foundation), then tap, roll and press the foundation into the skin for an even base.  Once finished you simply clean the blender with soap and warm water then air dry away from direct sunlight.  Can’t wait to try this.

Kinder Bueno

Kinder Bueno Bars

And finally a tasty treat was popped in every September Glossybox in the form of the Kinda Bueno Bar.  This months Glossybox has me set up for the Autumnal transition and who could resist a bit of chocolate?  I love these Kinder bars so thank you Glossybox I am off to enjoy mine now with a cup of tea.
